Promotion - Fundraising

In this article, you will learn how to set up a Promo Code, which can be used by customers on the App, web, and kiosk.

In this article, you will learn how to set up a fundraising campaign. A fundraising campaign lets you collect and track donations through orders: you share a code with your customers, and when a customer enters that code at checkout, the order is recorded under that campaign. A fundraising code does not change the order total.

Note:

  • For now, this promotion can only be used on the app, website, and kiosk. It is currently unavailable on POS.

  • A fundraising code does not apply a discount. To give customers a discount they unlock with a code, create an Order Discounts, Buy 1 Get 1 Discount, or Buy X Get Y Free promotion and set its Participation Type to Promo Code.

  • Promo Code promotions you created before this update keep working the way they always have, but their details page is now view-only and can no longer be edited. To make a change, create a new promotion instead.
