In this article, you will learn how to set up the First Order Promo and how customers can participate in this promotion.

In this article, you will learn how to configure "First Order Promo" promotion. For new registered customers, setting up a first-order discount can encourage them to place an order, increase the first-order rate, and thus boost sales.

Note: This promotion can only be used on the App and web platforms.

How to Set up First Order Promo

In the Enterprise Portal, navigate to [Promotions] - [First Order Promo], and click the [+] button to create a new first-order discount promotion.

Promotion Settings:

Name: Name the promotion in the textbox.

Description: Input the necessary description here. (For example, promotion rules.)

Internal Note: Note for internal use only. Customers will not be able to see this.

Discount Type:

① Offer discount at the whole:

Set the minimum consumption amount of the order (customers can only use the first order discount when the condition is met, the discount will not be displayed when it is below this value).

② Offer discount at conditions:

Customers buy:

Choose the items that can participate in the promotional event. Set the minimum consumption sum or the minimum number of items needed for the event (can only use the first order discount when the condition is met, will not be displayed when it is below this value).

Customers get:

You can filter some specific items set a buying limit, and then set the discount that the item participating in the promotional event can receive.

Channels can use:

It can be used in App and web platforms, POS or Kiosk are not supported.

Participating stores:

Choose which shops are participating in the promotional event.

Promotion validity time:

Choose when the promotion starts, end time is not mandatory.

Click Save to apply your settings.

How to View Promotion Details

You can view ongoing promotions in the Ongoing Events list under the Promote page. Click on the blue button to view the details of the promotional event. Clicking on the red button will disable this promotional event.

On the promotion details page, you can see the total order amount, order quantity, and the number of customers who participated in the promotion. You can also change the promotion description, internal notes, as well as the items participating in the event (other items cannot be changed during the event).

You can view expired promotions in the Past Events list. Click Active to re-enable events that have expired but are still within the validity period.

How customers can participate in the First Order Promo (using the App as an example)

On top of the ordering page, customers can see the available promotions.

After customers finish ordering, they can proceed to the Checkout page, and click Coupon/Promotion.

Choose the promotional event, and click [Done] to apply for the discount.
