In this article, you will learn how to configure order discount promotions. The promotion offers a discount either by percentage or a fixed amount.

Note: This promotion can only be used on the app and website for now.

How to Configure Order Discounts

Navigate to Enterprise Portal - [Promotions] - [Promotions] - [Increase Average Order Value] - [Order Discounts]

Store Portal - [Promotions] - [Promotions] - [Increase Average Order Value] - [Order Discounts]

Promotion Settings:

Name: Name the promotion in the textbox.

Description: Input the necessary description here. (For example, promotion rules.)

Internal Note: Note for internal use only. Customers will not be able to see this.

Promotion Rules:

Promotion Scope: Certain categories or items can be specifically included or excluded as part of this promotion's prerequisites.

Percentage: Receive the promotions by percentage. (For example, 15% off.)

Fixed Amount: Receive the promotions by a fixed amount. (For example, $5 off.)

Minimum Amount: The promotion becomes valid once a certain threshold is met, like getting $5 off on orders over $20.

Participation limits:

Limit Order Type:

  • Standard Orders: Orders placed by individuals

  • Group Order: Group order is only available on the app.

  • Please make sure to include [App] when you configure the Participating Channels.

Participating Channels

This promotion is only available on app and web for now.

Participating Stores

Include or exclude particular stores from the promotion.

Active Dates

Select the effective time, end time is optional.

Click [Special Hours] if you want the promotion to be used on special hours or days.

Click [Save].

How to View Promotion Details

In the [Promote Event List], find the [Ongoing Events] list to view the current promotions. Click the [blue] button for event details or the [red] button to deactivate any promotional event.

On the event details page, you can see the total amount, order count, and participant numbers. You can also update the event's description and internal notes. Other settings are fixed. Please deactivate and set up a new promotion for any other changes.

In the [Past Events] list, view expired events. Click [Active] to reactivate any that have expired but are still within their validity period.

How to Use the Promotion

On top of the ordering page, customers can see available promotions.

Add all items to the cart, including the rewarded items. Then go to the Checkout page, and click [Coupon/Promotion].

Choose a promotion and click [Done].

When applied, promotions can also be accessed from this location.
