In this article, you will learn how to configure promotion code. Promo Codes enable all customers, including those who haven't signed up, to enjoy promotions at checkout. This feature aids in targeting specific customer segments more accurately, facilitating more effective marketing strategies.

Promotion Rules

Promotion Scope: Certain categories or items can be specifically included or excluded as part of this promotion's prerequisites.

Code:

You have the option to choose between a custom single promo code or randomly assigned multi-codes

Custom Single Promo Code: Choose [Custom], then input the promo code and the promotion's name. This code will apply to everyone until the promotion either expires or reaches its usage limit.

Random Multi-Codes: Click [Multiple Codes] to opt for this type. Input how many codes you want to generate, and then save to automatically generate the codes (each code can only be used once until all codes are utilized or the event expires).

Discount Value:

Set the discount value in this section and choose between a percentage discount or a fixed amount discount.

Minimum Amount: Refers to the minimum order size required for customers to use the coupon code.

Participate Limits

You can limit the usage of the coupon code to a specific number of times, or restrict it to one use per customer.

Participating Channels

Choose which channels this coupon code can be applied. It is only available on app, web, and kiosk for now.

Participating Stores

Select the shops that will participate in this promotion. (This option is exclusively available on the Enterprise Portal).

Active Dates

Choose the start time for the promotion. The end time is optional.

Click on [Save] to set the coupon code live.

In the [Promote Event List], find the [Ongoing Events] list to view the current promotions. Click the [blue] button for event details or the [red] button to deactivate any promotional event.

In the [Past Events list], view expired events. Click [Active] to reactivate any that have expired but are still within their validity period.

When utilizing a custom single promo code, the promotion details page will showcase the number of times the code has been used, the discounted amount, and detailed order information for which the discount has been applied.

When using random multi-codes, the promotion details page will display all generated codes, their usage frequency, discount amount, and detailed order information for which these discounts were utilized. Click on [Download Promo Code] to acquire an Excel file containing the coupon codes.

Active promotions will be displayed at the top of the order page.

Customers can apply the Coupon Code on the checkout page by clicking [Coupon/Promotion].

Click [Tap to Apply+] under Coupon Code.

Enter the promo code.

Promotion will be applied to all eligible discounted items.

If the coupon code is not validated or cannot be applied to any item in this order, then the button will display "Invalid."
