In this article, you will learn how to manage the acceptance of orders on online platforms. Restaurants can temporarily halt order acceptance from online platforms through the backend or POS.
Note:
The kiosk will not show real-time updates when online order acceptance is turned off.
When online order acceptance is off, a reminder will appear when customers try to order and check out.

Control Online Orders on the Admin Portal
Navigate to Store Portal - [Settings] - [Sales Settings] - [Store Activation Setting]
You can change the [Online Channel Status] here.
If you turn off online order channels, all online channels, including App, Web, and Kiosk, cannot place orders.
Click [OK].
You can set a timer when turning off these channels. (For example, if you know you can resume selling online in 30 minutes, then choose "Close for 30 minutes." Then all online ordering channels will automatically resume after 30 minutes.)
Click [Save] to save the changes.
Control Online Orders on POS
You can find online channel status on POS in two ways:
Click [Settings] on the home page to enter the settings page
Then click [Pause Online Order].
You can also go to [Online Orders] on the home page.
Then click [Online Orders Normally] to enter.
To pause online orders, choose how long you want to stop for and click [Confirm] after finished.
Similarly, you can resume online orders by clicking the [Resume Selling Immediately] and then hit [Confirm].
