Configuring POS cash payment discounts encourages cash payments, helping restaurants save on transaction fees.
Note:
The default discount rate is 4%.
Zero cash discount is allowed.
The cash payment discount setting is defaulted off.
📖 Tutorial
Navigate to Store Portal - [Settings] - [Payment Settings] - [Cash Discount]
Click [Enable Cash Discount] to save the configurations.
Configure Contents：
Discount Rate:
The discount rate will be applied when paying in cash. (For example, if the rate is 4%, a $100 cash payment on the POS will receive a $4 discount.
Auto-Apply:
You can just leave this option checked to automatically apply this discount at checkout. To select it manually on the billing page, uncheck the option. Finally, click [Save].
POS Display：
The checkout interface shows the cash discount. You can toggle it on or off using the button in the lower right corner.
The auxiliary screen displays the discounted amount for cash payments, encouraging customers to pay in cash.
"Pay With Cash" = (Subtotal + Taxes & Fees - Promotion ) * (1 - Cash Discount)
