In this article, you will learn how to configure upsell promotion. Before checkout, customers are shown a list of recommended items that they can add to their cart. To boost sales, offering discounts on these additional items can encourage customers to make these purchases.
Note:
The App and Web can display up to 5 additional sales items, whereas the Kiosk shows a maximum of 4.
The items displayed are randomly chosen from a set of additional sales items.
It's strongly recommended to include smaller dishes, like appetizers or beverages, and apply discounts in this selection to enhance the chances of upselling.

How to Configure Upsell
Navigate to Store Portal - [Promotions] - [Promotions] - [Increase Average Order Value] - [Upsell]
Click [enable Upsell] to enable this function.
Display Slogan
Input the title of the upsell section. (For example, "You may also like", "Recommend for you", etc.)
Precondition
Order Amount Threshold:
Customers must meet the threshold to activate the upsell popup.
Which Category:
Click on [Special Categories] to specify which categories can trigger the upsell.
Click [+Add Special] to choose detailed categories.
Upsell Items:
Click [+Add Special] to open the configuration page.
Click [Search] to display all items, or enter keywords to search.
Check the items you want to add, then click [Add] to finalize the selection.
Apply Discount:
Check the box in the Apply Discount column, input the discount amount (discounts only, no markups permitted), and click [-$] to reduce $1.00 automatically. This process is strongly recommended to increase the chances of upselling.
Remove Unwanted Upsell Items:
If you remove the items from the list, click [-] under the Action.
Participating Channels:
You have the option to include or exclude specific channels for offering the upsell service. Please be aware that upselling is exclusive to the app, web, and kiosk channels; it is not available for in-store POS.
Click [Save].
