POS Printer Printing Issues

No Paper Output

Enter the [Settings] module on the POS, then click [Print Settings] - [Print Receipt Option] - [Printer Receipt Automatically] to ensure this setting is enabled.

Open the paper compartment, check if the paper outlet roller and its fixture are deformed or obstructed, and contact Peblla technical support if there is a deformation.

Clean the paper compartment of any debris, place the printing paper as shown, leave some paper outside the compartment, and close the lid.

The device requires 3-1/8'' (80mm wide) large-core thermal printing paper, otherwise paper jams and improper paper feeding may occur (printing paper purchase link: https://help.peblla.com/en/articles/8111378-consumable-order-links).

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Peblla technical support for assistance.

Printout Has No Ink

First, ensure that the printing paper is placed correctly. The printing side of the paper should face the right direction; scratching the front side of the paper with a hard object (like a fingernail) should produce a black line (printing paper purchase link: https://help.peblla.com/en/articles/8111378-consumable-order-links).

If there is no problem with the placement of the paper and it meets the material requirements, contact Peblla technical support for assistance.

Clean debris: Over time, paper dust may accumulate near the paper cutter, causing unclear printouts. Regularly clean debris, dust, and lint from the printer.

Clean the print head: If the printer has been used for a while and the print quality has declined, clean the print head promptly.

Kiosk Printer Printing Issues

No Printout Produced

1. Please confirm whether there is printing paper inside the printer compartment.

2. Please confirm there are no foreign objects inside the printer compartment and that the printer roller is rotating normally. If there are issues, clean the compartment.

3. The printing paper should be positioned so that a portion of it remains outside the printer compartment; the printer will automatically cut the paper after closing the compartment cover (as shown for K2 and K2mini).

Printout Has No Ink

Please confirm that the printing paper is positioned correctly (as shown for K2 and K2mini).

To check the paper quality, lay the printing paper flat on a table and scratch the front side with a hard object (like a fingernail); if a black line appears, the paper material is correct. Otherwise, replace the paper with the correct specifications (purchase link: https://help.peblla.com/en/articles/8111378-consumable-order-links ).

Kitchen Printer Printing Issues

Kitchen Printer Disconnection Issue

Kitchen Printer Disconnection Phenomenon

When the kitchen printer is disconnected, a prompt as shown in the images below will appear.

Note: Clicking "Resume Printing" on this page will attempt to reprint the failed document.

Device Power Work Status Check

1. If the blue indicator light in the image is not lit, the device is not connected; a continuously lit blue light indicates a normal connection. If it is not lit, proceed with the following steps to further troubleshoot network connection issues.

2. The red label position in the image below is the Ethernet port, normally showing a continuously lit green light and a flashing yellow light. Any other status indicates a network issue. Please check if the Ethernet cable is damaged or if the upstream network device's power is disconnected.

3. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, sequentially check the following:

a. Ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the device and the router.

b. Check if the router is turned on and displaying the appropriate status lights as shown in the image below.

c. Try using a different port on the router and make sure the cable is securely plugged in.

d. Check if the router is properly connected to the ISP's equipment.

e. Check if other devices under the same ISP network are connected normally. If other devices are experiencing network issues, contact the ISP for repairs. If other devices are connected, try replacing the Ethernet cable and attempt again. If the issue still cannot be resolved, contact Peblla technical support for assistance.

Device Network Work Status Check

1. If the blue indicator light in the image is not lit, the device is not connected; a continuously lit blue light indicates a normal connection. If it is not lit, proceed with the following steps to further troubleshoot network connection issues.

Kitchen Printer Not Printing

Printer Device Issues

1. Open the printer compartment cover; next to the printer indicator light is a button, press it to open the printer compartment cover.

2. Confirm there are no foreign objects inside the printer and that the printing paper is positioned correctly, as shown in the image below.

3. Close the printer compartment cover, leaving a portion of the printing paper outside to facilitate paper output.

4. If the issue is still not resolved, use an alcohol cloth or damp cloth to clean, ensuring no debris is adhering to the print head before attempting again. We recommend cleaning the printer once or twice a month, with frequency depending on usage.

5. If the middle indicator light on the printer is not lit, it indicates a network issue; proceed with the following steps for network troubleshooting:

a. Ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the printer and the router, checking if the printer and router's Ethernet cables are firmly connected.

If other devices are connected, try replacing the router's Ethernet cable and attempt again. If the issue still cannot be resolved, contact Peblla technical support for assistance.

Store Back-end Menu Printing Configuration Issue

Please navigate to the store back-end, then click on [Devices] - [Printers], and locate the corresponding printer.

Scroll down the page, and in [Print Scope], under [Special Items], confirm that this printer has been selected for the items that need to be printed.

After selecting the items, scroll to the bottom of the page, click the [Save] button, and then navigate to [POS] - [Settings] - [Refresh] to update the printing configuration.

If the above steps fail to resolve the issue, please contact Peblla technical support for assistance.

Kitchen Printer Paper Jam

Please open the paper compartment cover, check if the printing paper has wrinkles or foreign objects causing the paper outlet to be blocked, and if so, follow these steps to clean:

1. First, turn off the power.

2. Then use a cleaning brush to gently brush off the paper scraps near the paper outlet.

3. Open the printer cover and remove the paper roll.

4. Use a cleaning brush and blower to clean the print head and the area near the paper cutter. If the above steps fail to resolve the issue, please contact Peblla technical support for assistance.

Kitchen Printer No Ink

It is necessary to confirm that the printing paper material meets the printing requirements. The printing paper should be thermal paper; the test for thermal paper is to scratch the outside of the paper with a hard object (like a fingernail), and if a black scratch appears, it indicates the paper material is suitable (purchase link: https://help.peblla.com/en/articles/8111378-consumable-order-links ). If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Peblla technical support for assistance.
