Define Tip Allocation
1. Allocate by Hours Worked
Tips are distributed based on hours clocked in via POS
Time is rounded to the nearest 0.1 hour
2. Allocate by Percentage
Assign a percentage to each job (each job can only be added once)
Total must not exceed 100%
If the total is less than 100%, the remaining amount is recorded as Unallocated Funds
3. Allocate by Points
Uses clocked-in hours and a weight per job role
Time is rounded to the nearest 0.1 hour
Once saved, your tip pool settings apply to current and past data—unless a previous pay period has already been approved.
