Employees can directly clock in and out on the Peblla POS, and the system can automatically calculate each employee's tip based on hours worked or the tip pool calculation rules you set up.
Note: All employees must clock in/out using Peblla POS for them to be included in the tip pool calculation.

Clocking In
The PIN pad is located on the right side of the screen. Enter the employee's PIN to log in. To set up an employee account, please refer to this article.
If you have multiple jobs, please select the appropriate job title you want to clock in with before proceeding.
You can always clock in by entering the Time Card in these locations.
Breaks
Your staff can take a break without clocking out of their current job. Go to the Time Card and tap the [Start Break] button at the bottom.
If you have multiple break types set up for your restaurant, staff will need to select a break type before starting their break.

If you choose to enforce a minimum break time at your location, employees will not be able to end their break early without manager approval. If an employee attempts to end their break before the minimum time is reached, the system will prompt for a manager PIN to proceed.
Clock Out & Shift Review
If your job does not require Shift Review, the staff can go to Time Card and tap on [Clock Out] directly.
However, if a Shift Review is required, staff will need to complete the following procedures before officially clocking out.
They will need to:
Close all orders under their name, or move open checks to other employees.
2. Declare all cash tips received
3. Hand cash tips to managers.
4. Then they can choose whether to print out a Shift Review Report for this shift.
