Clock-In Process
Single Job with Mandatory Clock-In:
Employees required to clock in (e.g., Server, Host) must clock in using the Time Clock immediately upon logging into the POS if they are currently off-duty.
Single Job without Mandatory Clock-In:
Employees who are not required to clock in (e.g., Manager, Owner) can directly enter the POS when logging in if they are off-duty.
If these employees still wish to clock in, they can manually access the Time Clock from the POS homepage, table screen, or login screen.
Multiple Jobs with Mandatory Clock-In:
Employees who hold multiple roles, where at least one role requires clocking in (e.g., an employee who is both a Manager and a Server), must use the Time Clock to clock in upon logging into the POS.
Clocking Out
Employees can clock out from several convenient locations:

Clock-Out and Shift Review
Jobs Requiring Mandatory Shift Review:
Employees performing customer-facing roles that handle orders (e.g., Server, Host) must complete a Shift Review upon clocking out.
During Shift Review, employees are required to either close or transfer all open orders to successfully complete the shift.
Jobs Not Requiring Mandatory Shift Review:
Employees not required to complete a mandatory Shift Review can directly clock out or optionally complete their shift review via the Shifts - Shift Review page.
Note: Completing the Shift Review immediately clocks out the employee.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage your shifts, ensuring smooth operation and accurate tracking of employee hours and responsibilities.
