  3. Fill out the necessary details:

    • Break Name: Assign a name to the break.

    • Break Type: Select either Unpaid or Paid.

    • Duration: Specify the break length.

    • Enforce Minimum Time: Enable this option to prompt a reminder and require manager approval if an employee attempts to end the break early.

You can organize your Break List by sorting breaks, activating/deactivating them, or deleting breaks entirely. Any changes made here will automatically update on the POS interface. You can also view the edit logs.

Employees Taking Breaks

Once breaks have been set up, employees who are clocked in can start and end breaks directly through the Peblla POS.

Starting a Break

  1. On the Time Clock page, click the Start Break button.

  2. If multiple break types are available, employees will select the appropriate one. If there's only one break type, it is automatically applied.

While on break, employees' status changes to "On Break" and they cannot access POS functionalities until the break ends.

Ending a Break

  1. Employees on break logging into the POS will be automatically redirected to the Time Clock page.

  2. Click End Break to finish the break.

  3. If the Enforce Minimum Time setting is enabled and an employee tries to end their break early, manager approval (via manager PIN entry) is required.

Viewing Break Details

Break data is accessible through various reports:

  • Store Portal > Shifts List

  • POS Shift Review
