Once the permission group is set up, you can assign different permission groups to your employee accounts for controlled access. Please see the following articles for more information on employee account creation and permission groups and jobs.

POS Function

POS Basic	Access to the POS home screen. This option must be checked if you want the employee to have access to the POS function.
POS Table Service	Table Service	Update Tip Again: Allows the employee to modify the tip amount after it has been updated using their own PIN. Close Batched Checks： Grants the ability to close all open checks at one time using the employee's own PIN.

POS Close Out Day	Close Out Day (For store using FirstData)	Capture Reminder Setting: Allows setting up of reminders related to end-of-day closing tasks using the employee's own PIN.

POS Setting	Setting	Dining Time Setting: Grant access to set dining times rules within the POS system using their own PIN. Enable Offline Credit Card Payment: Grant access to enable the processing of credit card payments when offline using the employee's own PIN. Turn On/Off Cash Drawer Record: Allows the employee to use their own PIN to enable or disable the detailed recording function of using the cash drawer, excluding the sales process.

Order Print: Grants the ability to print order details. Order Refund: Allows processing of order refunds after the manager's authorization. Order Refund via self PIN access: Allows refunds to be processed using the employee's own PIN. Edit Item Price: Enables the employee to edit the price of items after the manager's authorization. Edit Item Price via self PIN access: Allows item price edits using the employee's own PIN. Edit Add-on Price: Grants the ability to modify prices of add-ons after the manager's authorization. Edit Add-on Price via self PIN access: Allows add-on price modifications using the employee's own PIN. Void Order: Enables voiding of orders using the employee's own PIN. Void Item: Allows voiding of individual items within an order using the employee's own PIN. Use Discount: Grants permission to apply discounts to orders using the employee's own PIN. Edit Discount: Grants the ability to modify discount details using the employee's own PIN. Custom Percentage Discount: Enables setting custom percentage discounts. Custom Amount Discount: Allows setting of custom amount discounts. Remove Tax: Grants permission to remove tax from orders using the employee's own PIN. Remove Convenience Fee: Allows the removal of convenience fees after the manager's authorization. Remove Convenience Fee via self PIN access: Enables removal of convenience fees using the employee's own PIN. Remove Auto-Gratuity: Allows the removal of automatic gratuity charges using the employee's own PIN. Switch Preferred Delivery Service: Grants the ability to switch the store's preferred delivery service using the employee's own PIN. Prepaid: Allows adding prepaid to an order. View Other Employees' Orders: Enables viewing of orders taken by other employees. Edit Other Employees' Orders: Allows editing of orders taken by other employees. Change Server: Grants the ability to change the server assigned to an order. Open Cash Drawer (No Sale): Allows the cash drawer to be opened without a cash transaction in the following scenarios: declare cash tip, cash refunds, training mode cash transactions, and all other manual cash drawer openings. Open Cash Drawer (Cash Payment): Allows the cash drawer to be open for cash transactions.

The permission group in the Store Portal can be searched and configured based on the directory navigation pages visible to your current login.
