How to Use the One-Click Daily Summary Feature for Table Service Orders

In this article, you will learn how to use the one-click daily summary feature.

Updated over a week ago

When the store has a compulsory tipping policy, and when the order reaches the threshold, the system automatically charges the tip, customers usually will not pay additional tips (the order status for compulsory tips is the same as that for orders with no tips charged, and are differentiable only by opening the order). Before closing, the staff will open each order one by one to collect unpaid tips or to update tips. If there are still orders with compulsory tips unprocessed, staff can use the one-click daily summary feature to change the status of all orders, preventing it from affecting future order checking.

Note: If there are ongoing orders, the one-click daily summary function will not work for them, and they still need to be settled before processing.

📖 Tutorial

Navigate to POS home page - [Table Service] mode, choose [TBL SVC Orders] to enter the order page.

Click [Close Batched Checks] located at the top right conner of the order page.

Click [Update] to automatically filter out orders in ‘Authed’ status (Authed is the short term for authenticated, means orders that are paid by credit card but the tips are unpaid).

Once the tips are updated for the filtered orders requiring adjustments, click [Close Batched Checks] again.

Click [Next step] to proceed to the next step.

Here, the count of orders with 'Authed' status (excluding ongoing orders) will be displayed. After confirming, click [Continue].

Click [Continue] to confirm again.

Input the PIN of an authorized person, then click [Enter].

The one-click order cutoff will take some time, and the progress will be shown in the upper right corner.

If you need to stop, you can click on the progress in the top right, then click [Terminate] to terminate.

When the progress is fully loaded, a pop-up window will appear to notify you.
