Access Sales Overview
Navigate to the Store Portal, go to [Report], and select [Sales Overview].
Customize Your Report
Filter by Channel and Time
You have the option to view a comprehensive report covering all channels or to examine the report for each channel individually.
You can easily filter the data by area or table, allowing for a detailed view of different sections and tables within your report.
Select your desired interval and adjust the time filter conditions to tailor the report to your specific needs.
You have the option to include data from an equivalent number of days in the past for comparison. This comparative data will be shown in green or red next to the previous period's figures, indicating a percentage increase or decrease.
Dashboard Terminology
Gross Sales
Total: Total amount of all orders in the selected time, calculated as the sum of each item in the right-side Details.
Details: Details of the Gross Sales, including subtotal, tax, promotions, tip, etc.
Payment Method: Payment amount with different payment methods. Apple Pay and Google Pay are sub-items under credit card.
Channel: Total sales and proportion of the various channels.
Dining Type: Order amounts from different dining methods.
Order Volume
Order Volume: Number of orders that happened in the selected time period.
Average Order Size: Average order price, calculated as Gross Sales / Order Volume.
Items Volume: Number of dishes in total.
Analyzing the average order price data helps you assess current sales performance, understand customer preferences, and make informed optimizations to enhance your business.
Refund
Here, you can see the total refund amount for this period by channel, along with specific refund details per payment method.
These insights help restaurants identify which payment methods result in refunds, track refund trends, spot irregularities, and understand the underlying reasons. With this knowledge, you can take steps to reduce the refund rate, refine your business approach, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Sales by Date
In this section, you can track sales trends to identify peak and non-peak days. This information enables strategic staffing adjustments and targeted promotional planning.
Sales: Total order amount on a certain day.
Order Volume: Sales quantity of orders on a certain day.
Top Sales
Top Category Sales: Ranking of best-selling categories during a certain period, displaying the sales total and quantity of that category.
Top Items Sales: Ranking of best-selling items during a certain period, displaying the total sales and quantity of that item.
Top Add-ons Sales: Ranking of best-selling add-ons during a certain period, displaying the sales total and quantity of that add-on.
You have the option to sort the list by either amount or quantity, enabling you to identify which dishes significantly contribute to sales. This insight can guide decisions on adjusting the supply or pricing of certain dishes to optimize your sales strategy.
