šŸŽµ Getting Started - TikTok Go Vouchers

Set up TikTok Go vouchers on the TikTok side and in Peblla, then redeem them in your store.

With TikTok Go, customers buy vouchers for your restaurant in the TikTok app and redeem them when they visit. Before your first voucher can be redeemed, there is a one-time setup on both the TikTok side and the Peblla side.

This guide walks you through that setup and links to the detailed guides along the way.

Two types of TikTok vouchers

  • Product voucher (created as a Discount voucher in TikTok) — a set of items at a discounted price, such as a burger meal. On the POS it is redeemed as a free TikTok Combo that is added to the order, so you need to build a matching combo in the Store Portal first.

  • Cash voucher (created as a Cash voucher in TikTok) — a voucher with a set value that customers buy for less, for example paying $35 for a $50 voucher. It is used as a payment method at checkout and needs no extra setup in Peblla beyond connecting TikTok Go.

1. Join TikTok Go

TikTok Go has its own team that guides you through opening your merchant account and onboarding your stores. Once your stores are live in your TikTok Go merchant portal, move on to section 2.

2. Connect TikTok Go to Peblla

Step 1: Send your IDs to Peblla Support

Email [email protected] with your TikTok Go Merchant ID and the Store ID of each store. Peblla Support turns on the TikTok integration for your stores.

You can find your TikTok Go Merchant ID in the account menu at the bottom left of your TikTok Go merchant portal.

You can find each Store ID in Stores > Manage stores.

Step 2: Accept Peblla's authorization request

In your merchant portal, go to Stores > Manage authorizations and approve the request from Peblla. TikTok's guide: Connect the approved app with your merchant.

Step 3: Link each store to Peblla

In your merchant portal, go to Stores > Manage stores and set each store's Store Application ID to that store's Peblla Merchant ID. TikTok's guide: Bind outlet to third shop ID. If the upload times out, try again.

To find a store's Peblla Merchant ID, go to Management > Store in the Store Portal. It is the Merchant ID shown at the top of Details. This is not the same as your TikTok Go Merchant ID.

Note: If a store's Store Application ID does not match its Peblla Merchant ID, no voucher can be redeemed at that store. For a brand with several locations, every store in your merchant portal needs this.

3. Create your vouchers

Vouchers are created as products in your TikTok Go merchant portal. When you create a product, choose its type:

  • Discount voucher for a product voucher.

  • Cash voucher for a cash voucher.

TikTok reviews each product before customers can see it, and reviews it again whenever you change its rules, so make sure the rules are right before you publish.

Product vouchers need a matching TikTok Combo in the Store Portal. Once the integration is on, a TikTok Combo tab appears in Store Portal > Menu > Combo. Build a TikTok Combo with the same items there.

In the combo's TikTok Application Product ID field, enter the voucher's ID from the Product application ID column of your products list in TikTok. That ID is how the two sides are matched. See Menu - Set Up TikTok Combo.

Cash vouchers need nothing set up in Peblla.

Note: A product voucher goes on sale as soon as TikTok approves it, but it can only be redeemed on the POS once its matching TikTok Combo exists. Set up the combo before the voucher goes live.

4. Redeem vouchers in your store

On the POS

To redeem a product voucher, tap [Redeem Voucher] while you build the order.

Then scan the customer's QR code or enter the voucher code, and tap [Redeem].

While you redeem, the customer display shows the customer how to open the voucher in the TikTok app.

To take a cash voucher, go to the payment page and tap [Other] > [TikTok Voucher]. See POS Quick Service - How to Redeem TikTok Vouchers.

On the Kiosk

Customers can redeem product vouchers themselves. The voucher is redeemed when they reach payment. Cash vouchers cannot be used on the Kiosk; customers are asked to see a staff member.

5. Day to day on TikTok

You can check your voucher sales in your TikTok Go merchant portal under Analytics > Transactions.

Refunds of the voucher itself also happen on the TikTok side: the customer requests the refund in the TikTok app, and you can see refund requests and their status under Orders > Refunds. Voiding or refunding an order on the POS does not return the voucher.

FAQ

How do I get the TikTok integration turned on?

Email [email protected] with your TikTok Go Merchant ID and the Store ID of each store. See section 2, Step 1 above for where to find them.

A customer bought a voucher, but it will not redeem. What should I check?

First, check that the store's Store Application ID in your TikTok Go merchant portal matches its Peblla Merchant ID.

For a product voucher, also check that a TikTok Combo exists in this store whose TikTok Application Product ID matches the voucher's Product application ID in TikTok.

Also make sure the POS is online. Vouchers cannot be redeemed while it is offline.

One voucher is valid at several of my stores. What do I set up?

Create the same TikTok Combo in each store, with the same TikTok Application Product ID in all of them. For example, if a voucher is valid at ten stores, build that combo ten times, once per store. See Menu - Set Up TikTok Combo.

A customer bought several of the same voucher. Do I scan once?

No. All of them sit in one QR code, and each scan plus [Redeem] uses up one voucher. Scan the same code again for each one.

Can I refund a TikTok voucher on the POS?

You can void or refund the order, but the voucher is not returned. To get the voucher back, the customer requests a refund in the TikTok app.
