Peblla Table - Manage a Reservation

Once a reservation exists, everything you do with it — seating the guest, leaving a note, changing the details, cancelling — happens in the reservation detail panel. This article covers each of those.

📖 Tutorial

Tap a card in the reservation panel, or a block on the timeline, to open the reservation. The detail panel replaces the list on the left.

Status

Where the reservation is right now, and where you change it.

Reservation Details

Date, time, party size, duration, table type and table, with [History] and [Edit] underneath.

Temporary Note

A short note for right now.

Guest Details

The guest’s email, phone and note.

Deposit

What the guest has paid and how much you can still refund.

Cancel reservation

Cancels the booking and, if you choose, refunds the deposit.

Change the status

Open the Status dropdown and pick the status the reservation should move to. Both the built-in statuses and any custom statuses you have set up are listed.

Moving to Seated

Starts the quick-seat flow on your POS, so the table opens with the guest and their deposit already attached.

Moving to Completed

Asks you to confirm: "Mark this reservation as Completed? This action cannot be undone."

Completed, Cancelled or Pending

The status can no longer be changed.

Leave a temporary note

Use Temporary Note (up to 100 characters) for something that only matters today — the party is running late, they are waiting at the bar. It is separate from the Visit Note taken when the reservation was booked, and from the guest’s Guest Note.

Edit a reservation

Tap [Edit] to change the date, time, party size, duration or table. Editing is only available while the reservation is still expected — once it is Seated, No-Show, Cancelled or Completed, the details are locked.

If you move the reservation to a date where the original table type is no longer offered, the table type is cleared and you pick a new one; the duration is then recalculated for the new table type and time.

See what happened

Tap [History] for the full record of the reservation, from the moment it was created: detail and table changes, status changes, deposit payments and refunds — each with who did it and whether it came from the web or from Peblla Table.

Cancel a reservation

Tap [Cancel reservation] at the bottom of the panel. The button is hidden for reservations that are Pending, Cancelled or Completed.

When you confirm, choose how to handle any deposit the guest has already paid: No Refund, Partial Refund or Full Refund. Anything that includes a refund needs manager PIN verification. The guest is notified once the cancellation goes through.
