When a customer comes back to add more items or to pay, your staff can pull the saved order straight up by scanning the bar code on the check, instead of looking for it in Order History.

Turn On the Bar Code
The bar code is off by default. To turn it on, go to Store Portal > Settings > Receipt Settings. See Settings - Receipt Settings for more instructions.
What Prints on the Check
Once the setting is on, an unpaid check prints a scannable bar code together with the order number. Paid receipts do not print it.
Scan to Retrieve the Order
There are two ways to scan the bar code on the POS:
From the POS home screen, just scan — you do not need to open anything first.
From Order History, press [Scan] at the top of the page. A Scan to Retrieve Order window opens and asks you to scan the bar code on the customer's receipt. Press [Cancel] to close it without scanning.
What happens next depends on the order status:
If the order is still Unpaid, the ordering page for that order opens, so you can add items and take payment.
For any other status, the order details open — the same view you get by pressing the order in the Order History list.
Note: If the bar code does not match an order, the POS shows Order not found. Please search manually in Order History.
Scanner Requirements
Use a scanner in keyboard (HID) mode that supports Code 128 bar codes. The SUNMI Blink, the SUNMI 2D Handheld Scanner and the Superlead 7200D have all been tested and work.
