In this article, you will learn how to take orders and process payments in table service mode. We will guide you through the steps of efficiently managing orders, handling multiple tables, and ensuring smooth payment transactions.

📖 Tutorial

Click [Table Service] on the POS main page to enter table service mode.

Select the dining area, then choose a table to open. A white square indicates that the table is not yet opened, while a green square indicates that the table is occupied.

Enter the number of guests in the pop-up window, then click [Start Order] to open the table.

Adding Items

① Select [Item] to add it to the cart. An item in grey indicates that it is sold out and cannot be added to the order.

② You can also use the [Search] function to find items to add.

Quantity Adjustment

When an item is selected, you can set its quantity. Click [+] to increase the quantity of the item and [-] to decrease it. If the quantity is 1 and you click [-], the item will be deleted.

Add Taste、Size、Add-ons

If an item has an add-on option, adding it will automatically bring up the modifier page. Alternatively, you can manually click [Modifier] to open the page and modify the item.

If the backend configuration requires selecting side dishes for an item, you will not be able to make a payment unless side dishes are chosen.

Order and Item Remarks

If a customer has special needs, you can add remarks for a specific item or the entire order (For example, "no ice" or "no spice").

Discounts

To give a discount to an order, click [Discount] to open a pop-up window for selection, then input the administration PIN code to apply the discount.

To give a discount to a single item, select the item first, then click [Discount].

Adjust Number of Diners

Click [x Guests] to adjust the current number of guests at the table.

Split/Combine Order, Change Table

Split/Combine Order:

An order can be split into multiple sub-orders, with each sub-order placed and paid for individually. Additionally, multiple orders can be combined into one.

Change Table:

Based on the customer's needs, you can change the current table to another.

Print Order

When the items are selected, click [Print Check] to print the receipt.

Pending Orders

Once the customers at the table have finished ordering, click [Send] to send the selected items to the kitchen while hanging the order. During this period, you can still modify the order.

Void Item

To cancel an item that has already been sent to the kitchen or to cancel an order, click [Void], input a PIN code with the appropriate permissions, and enter the reason for voiding the item. The kitchen will then print a cancellation receipt.

Dining Timer

The POS table service page features a timer for each opened table. The timer starts when the table is opened. If the table is not opened on the POS, the timer begins from the first dropdown when ordering by scanning the QR code.

Checkout

When the customer finishes dining, select the table, then click [Pay] to proceed with the checkout.

Members

On the ordering page, click [Select Member] and input the phone number to record the member’s account. You can use the member's points for deductions. When the order is paid, the order amount is converted into points for accumulation.

Regular Cash Checkout

Input or select the cash amount paid by the customer, and the system will automatically calculate the change. Then click [Pay Cash] to complete the cash checkout.

Credit Card Checkout

When the device is connected to the BBPOS, swipe the card to complete the checkout (tips need to be manually entered in the order history).

You can also click [Manual Card Entry] to input the card number for checkout, and you can directly select the tip amount.
