The updated Shift Details page provides a streamlined, all-in-one view of each employee’s time clock activity. This new layout helps managers audit shifts more efficiently and catch time-clock issues before running payroll.

What You Can Do on the Shift Details Page

View Shifts by Employee

Filter shift records by a specific employee to review clock-in, clock-out, and break logs.

Add New Shift

Click + Add Shift to manually create a shift for an employee.

Customize Display Columns

The Display Columns button lets you personalize your view to show only the information you need.

Export Data

Click Export to download all data currently visible on the screen.

Editing Shift Details

You can edit shift information directly on the portal, including:

  • Clock-in & clock-out times

  • Break start/end times

  • Declared cash tips

⚠️ You cannot manually edit a “missed break” anomaly, as it is automatically calculated based on total shift length and actual recorded break time.

However, once you adjust the underlying clock-in/out or break times, the system will automatically re-evaluate and update the missed break status.

Check Anomalies

Shift Details highlights common time-clock issues to help you correct them before payroll.

MISSED BREAKS

A break is marked as missed if the employee did not take the required break, even if they manually acknowledge it.

AUTO CLOCK-OUT

If an employee forgets to clock out, the system will automatically clock them out according to the store’s configured auto clock-out rules.
