Promotions - Free Gifts

Updated today

Free giveaways can be an effective promotion strategy to increase average ticket size and encourage upselling.

If your restaurant offers popular merchandise, you can set those items as "Not for Sale" in the system and configure them to be given away only when a customer’s purchase meets a specific threshold (e.g., spend over $25).

This approach adds value to larger orders and creates excitement around your brand-exclusive items, without affecting your regular item pricing.

Note: This promotion is automated on the App, Website, and Kiosk. Not for Sale item can be added manually for POS transactions.

Navigate to Enterprise Portal > Promotions > Promotions, and find [Free Gifts].

Name: Name the promotion in the textbox.

Description: Input the necessary description here. (For example, promotion rules.)

Internal Note: Note for internal use only. Customers will not be able to see this.

Amount Threshold: Unlock the promotion once the order total exceeds a specified amount.
