POS Reservation - How to Manage & Make Reservation

In this article, you will be able to learn how to manage and make reservations on the POS system.

In addition to reservations on the website, restaurant employees can directly manage and make reservations for customers over the POS. POS reservation is not bounded by the limitation set up on the Admin Portal.

📖 Tutorial

Please first make sure you have the [Reservation] feature enabled on the Admin Portal. Visit this article for basic setups. Then, check if your account has access to the Reservation button on the POS. List of employee permissions>>>

Use the [Reservation] tab on the home screen.

Select a date from the calendar on the left, and the right-hand side will display all the reservations for that date. To admit customers, simply choose [Check-In].

Click [+ New Reservation] to create new reservations for customers. If the phone number provided by the customer matches existing member info, the member level will be shown below.

You can also go to reservation details if you need to make changes to existing reservations.

Edit all information on an existing reservation

Cancel RESV

Cancel an existing reservation, employees can choose whether to charge the No-Show fee

No-Show

When customers are no-shows for their reservation, employees can still choose whether to charge a No-Show fee or not.

Check-In

Once the customer is checked in, the no-show fee cannot be collected

Offline Payment

Offline Payment: This means the no-show fee is collected offline. if this is option is selected, then the no-show fee cannot be collected online again.

Send Payment Link

Send Payment Link: Click this button to resend the no-show fee collection SMS

Retry Deduction

Retry Deduction: Use this to retry capture no-show fee if initial capture failed

Use the [History] button on the top to access all existing reservations.
