In this article, you will learn how to use a credit card for checkout in offline mode. This feature is useful when the network is poor. By enabling offline mode, customers can still complete their payment using a credit card, ensuring a smooth transaction even in challenging situations.
Note: Offline mode for credit cards must be enabled in the settings. If this feature is not enabled, the credit card payment option will not be available. (Click the link to learn how to enable it.)

When the network connection is unstable, a prompt window will appear. Click [OK] to switch to offline mode.
POS home page display when offline:
Click on the offline icon to see the instructions for offline mode.
In offline mode, when the offline card swipe feature is enabled and you access the [Terminals] section from the home page, the card reader will display a prompt.
A prompt will appear in the top left corner of the ordering page when offline.
After placing the order, click [Pay] to proceed to the checkout page.
However, in offline mode, you cannot log in to member accounts to apply discounts.
Credit cards can still be used for payment by inserting, swiping, or tapping the card. However, if the payment amount exceeds the card's limit, the card payment button will not be displayed. Instead, a reminder will appear, indicating that the card payment cannot be processed.
Once the order is paid, it will appear in the order list.
When the network is restored, any pending deductions will be processed automatically. Once the deduction is successful, you will be able to view the order.
If the deduction fails, a prompt will appear in the order list.
The merchant will also receive an email notification regarding the deduction failure.
