Configure the Open Tab Feature

Click [Settings] on the POS home page.

Click [Open Tab Setting] at the bottom of the page.

Enable the [Open Tab] function and enter an amount in the [Default Pre-auth Amount] field. This amount sets the maximum limit for each Open Tab transaction and can be customized.

When the Open Tab function is enabled, the [Open Tab] option will appear on the order pages for both Table Service and Quick Service.

How to Use the Open Tab Feature

Click [Open Tab] on the order page to open a pop-up window.

Enter the customer's name and the authorized amount, then click [Next].

Customers may swipe their card to proceed with payment on the open tab page.

The open tab is successfully activated once the customer swipes their card. In the top left corner, "TAB: [customer name]" will be displayed, with the authorized amount for this order shown below the total amount.

After selecting items and clicking [Pay], you will be taken to the payment screen, where the authorized bank card information will be displayed. If the customer wants to use a different credit card, they can swipe the new card. To add a tip and complete the payment, click [Credit Card] to open the tip selection window.

When the tip amount is selected, click [Submit] to make the payment.

When a preauthorized card is used for payment in Table Service, a confirmation order will not be printed. Instead, a tip sign-off receipt will be printed directly.
