In this article, you will learn how to use the Auto-Lock feature to choose how long the POS can stay inactive before the screen locks, or to keep it from locking at all. This helps improve the security and convenience of your POS.

Go to [Settings] and click [Auto-Lock]. The current setting is shown on the right, for example Never.
On the Auto-Lock screen, choose how long the POS can stay inactive before it locks: 15 S, 30 S, 1 Min, 2 Mins, 3 Mins, or 4 Mins. If you don't want the POS to lock, select Never. The selected option is highlighted in red.
When the selected time passes with no activity, the POS logs out automatically. The screen returns to the login page, and you will need to re-enter your PIN to log in.
Upon logging in again, you will be taken to the POS homepage, rather than the previous page before the screen lock. If Training Mode is enabled, it will remain active after the screen locks and upon re-entry.
