In this article, you will learn how to configure delayed kitchen printing in the POS settings. Employees can set a delay for certain items to ensure a correct serving order, this ensures each dish is prepared on time.

Note:

  • To ensure the proper functioning of the "Table Service Delayed Send" feature and avoid missing kitchen printing for delayed dishes, we recommend using this feature on the host POS.

  • Note that this feature is only available in table service mode.

Function Activation

Click on [Settings] on the POS main page to access the configuration options.

Go to [Print Settings], then turn on [Table Service Delayed Send] to activate the delayed printing function.

Function Demonstration

When the [Table Service Delayed Send] feature is activated, a pop-up window will appear when the current device sends an order to the kitchen for table service. Select the items that need to be delayed and set the delay duration on the right side.

If the preset time options do not meet the requirements, you can enter a custom duration in [Custom Time]. The delay unit is in minutes. If a mistake is made, you can click [No Delay] to remove the delay setting.
