Your payout account is where Peblla sends your store's earnings, so changing it needs extra protection.
⚠️ Only add people to the Owner List who are authorized to approve payout account changes for your store. Once an owner is verified, they can authorize payout account update requests.
The Owner List keeps a record of the people responsible for your store. Only a Verified owner, someone who has confirmed their phone number with a text message code, can authorize a payout account change.
Every payout account update needs a verified owner to approve it on the spot with a one-time code sent to their phone. This helps keep anyone else from redirecting your payouts.
Where to find it
In the Store Management Portal, go to Store Account. You'll find Owner List and Payout Account in this menu.
What the Owner List shows
The Owner List shows each owner's Name, Phone, Email, and Status:
Verified: the owner has confirmed their phone number and can authorize payout account changes.
Unverified: the owner is on file but can't authorize anything until their phone number is verified.
A store can have more than one owner, and all owners have the same standing. Any verified owner can authorize a change.
How to add an owner
Adding or editing an owner needs to be authorized by a verified owner first.
Go to Store Account > Owner List and click Add Owner.
In the Owner Authorization window, select a verified owner, click Send Code, and enter the code sent to that owner's phone.
Enter the new owner's Name, Email, and Phone. The phone must be a 10-digit US number.
Click Send Code next to the phone number. The new owner will get a text message with a verification code.
Enter the code under Verification Code and click Verify. You'll see Phone number verified.
Click Submit. The owner is added as Verified.
If the new owner can't get the code right now, click Save without verification. The owner is saved as Unverified, and you can verify them later.
If your store doesn't have a verified owner yet, clicking Add Owner shows Verified Owner Required. Contact Peblla Support to set up your first owner.
How to edit or verify an owner
On the Owner List, click the Edit icon next to the owner.
Authorize the change with a verified owner's code, the same way as when adding an owner.
Update the owner's details and save.
Keep in mind:
Changing the phone number turns the owner back to Unverified. Send a code to the new number and verify it to keep them verified.
Changing only the name or email doesn't change the owner's status.
To verify an Unverified owner, open Edit, click Send Code, and enter the code sent to their phone.
How to change your payout account
Go to Store Account > Payout Account. You'll see your current payout account with the account and routing numbers partly hidden.
Click Request Update.
Fill in the form with your new bank account details and upload the required documents, then sign the authorization.
Under Owner Authorization Required, click Verify. Select a verified owner and enter the code sent to their phone. You'll see Authorized by followed by the owner's name.
Click Submit. You'll see Payout account update request submitted.
If the code is wrong or has expired, you'll see The code is incorrect or has expired. Try again or request a new code. The details you entered in the form are kept.
If your store has no verified owner, you can't start a payout account update. You'll see Verified Owner Required. Click Go to Owner List to add or verify an owner first.
What happens after you submit
Your request is sent to the Peblla team, who will set up the new payout account for your store.
The request appears right away at the top of the Audit Log with the status Submitted.
Payout update history
On the Payout Account page, click Audit Log to see past payout account update requests, with the newest at the top. Each entry shows the date and time, the new account and routing numbers (partly hidden), who submitted the request, and its status. If no changes have been requested, you'll see No update history yet.
Good to know
Verification codes are sent by text message to US phone numbers. If an owner's phone can't receive texts (for example, a VoIP number, a landline, or a non-US number), you'll see Can't receive the code? Contact Peblla Support. Please reach out to Peblla Support.
Requesting a new code makes the previous code invalid.
Each authorization covers one payout update request only. A new request needs a new code.
Owners can't be removed from the Owner List at this time.
If your store already had owners on file, they may appear as Unverified. Verify at least one owner before you need to change your payout account.
The Owner List doesn't affect employee logins or permissions.
