🧾 Tax Overview Reporting Change (Effective April 1, 2025)
🧾 Tax Overview Reporting Change (Effective April 1, 2025)
Updated yesterday

To better align your tax reporting with your actual business operations, Peblla is updating how Tax Overview reports are calculated and displayed.

🔄 What’s Changing?

Starting April 1, 2025, your Tax Overview will be based on your custom business day (as defined in your store settings) instead of the natural calendar day (12:00 AM–11:59 PM).

This change will apply across all platforms:

  • POS reports

  • Portal dashboards

  • Peblla – My Restaurant App

📅 What About Historical Data?

All historical tax data will be updated to reflect your custom business day starting April 1, 2025.

  • If you search for data before this date, it will now display using your business day time range.

  • Reports generated or printed before April 1 will still show the previous calculation for reference.

❓Why This Change?

Many restaurants operate past midnight, but reporting by calendar day can cause mismatches between sales and taxes. This update:

  • Aligns tax data with your actual operating hours

  • Makes your financial and tax reporting more accurate

  • Brings your reports in line with industry standards
