Updated over a week ago

In this article, you will learn how to edit items or add-ons, adjust their prices, and update their sales status. With quick editing in the POS system, you can make modifications without logging into the store portal. Additionally, you can manage stock levels and add special items to the quick order menu.

Note:

  • Item prices can only be modified according to the current pricing type (Base, Size Price, Free); the pricing type cannot be changed.

  • Item names and specification names will be displayed based on the name or alias set in the POS machine's display setting.

  • Item status can be modified in two ways: Change Inventory for Today (effective only for the current business day) and Manually Change Status (require manual changes to revert). The first option resets the following day, while the second remain in effect until changed again.

📖 Tutorial

Edit Item Price and Inventory Status

On the POS ordering page, long press the item to open the editing page.

Quick Order

Turn on the [Add to Quick Order] switch, click [Save & Publish] to add the item to Quick Order.

The corresponding item will be organized in Quick Order section according to its category.

On the quick edit mode page, modify item's price if needed, then click [Save & Publish] to save the changes.

Today’s Inventory

This allows you to modify the inventory status of items for sale today, but these changes will only take effect for the day, and will revert to the previous inventory status the next day. After changing the status, click [Save & Publish] to modify it.

Today's Inventory - In Stock (Unlimited):

When an item's inventory status is set to "In Stock (Unlimited)", it means the item can be sold without limit for the rest of the day. The inventory will revert to its previous setting after today.

Today's Inventory - Limited Quantity:

When an item's inventory status is set to "Limited Quantity", the inventory quantity must be greater than 0; otherwise, it cannot be saved.

Today's Inventory - Sold Out for Today:

When an item's inventory status is set to "Sold Out for Today", it cannot be sold for the rest of the day. The inventory status will revert to its previous setting the following day.

Stock Status

When the inventory reaches 0, the item is automatically set as out of stock. The item will be greyed out and cannot be ordered. To resume sales, edit the item and change its status to [In Stock (Unlimited)].

Items Status

In the item status section, the selected status will be permanently retained until a manual modification is made. After changing the status, click [Save & Publish] to apply the modification.

Item Status - In Stock:

If the item status is set to "In Stock", the quantity of items available for sale will not be restricted in the future.

Item Status - Out of Stock:

If the item status is set to "Out of Stock", the item cannot be ordered, and today's inventory cannot be modified while the item is out of stock.

Item Status - Stop Sale:

If the item status is set to "Stop Sale", the item can be removed. After removal, it will be hidden from all channels and cannot be quickly edited in the POS. To make it available for sale again, it must be reactivated from the back end.

Edit Add-on Price and Inventory Status

On the POS ordering page, long press the add-on to open the editing page.

Price Modification:

Click on the price to modify the price of the add-ons, then click [Save & Publish] to save the change.

The sales status of add-ons is aligned with the item's sales status. However, since some add-ons are liquids or other unquantifiable items, inventory quantities are not set for add-ons.
