In this article, you will learn how to change item availability settings. Items can be in one of four statuses: available, not available, out of stock, or sold out. These statuses can be adjusted by making an item available or unavailable, marking it as out of stock or as sold out.
Table of Contents:
Note: Items that are not available cannot be marked as out of stock. However, you can set the item's inventory, which will take effect once the item is made available.
📖 Tutorial
Set Item Availability
Manage Single Item:
Navigate to Store Portal - [Menu] - [Items]. You can control the item's availability using the [Sales Availability] switch when creating or editing an item. By default, the sales availability switch is off when creating a new item.
On the items page, click on the yellow button in the [Action] column to change item's availability. The status will update accordingly.
Manage Multiple Items:
On the Items page, select all items or a group of items that you want to make available or unavailable. Then click the [Batch Start Sales] or [Batch Stop Sales] button to update their availability in bulk.
Mark Item as Out of Stock
On the items list, in the action column, click the red button to open the dropdown menu. Then select [Out of Stock] to mark an item as out of stock, changing its status to out of stock.
After clicking the [Out of Stock] button to mark an item as out of stock, the button changes to a [Reload] button. Clicking it again will put the item back on sale.
