In this article, you will learn how to set up member subscriptions. Customers can opt to pay a monthly or yearly subscription fee to enjoy exclusive member discounts and recurring benefits. We will guide you through the process, ensuring you can offer a seamless subscription experience to your customers.

Note:

  1. Customers can only subscribe through the app, but they can enjoy the benefits across all channels.

  2. Member Subscription is a long-term promotion, and frequent changes to the subscription rules may negatively impact the customer experience. Therefore, we recommend exercising caution when setting up this feature.

  3. If changes to the subscription are implemented, the new version will replace the old one. However, customers who purchased their subscription before the change will continue to enjoy the original benefits until their plan is up for renewal.

Enable Subscription

Navigate to Enterprise Portal - [Member] - [Member Subscription]. To enable this function, please contact Peblla Support.

Configure Subscription Card Design

Configure the Design of the Subscription Card:

Set the subscription name, background color or image, icon badge, and slogan, which will be displayed in the center of the card.

Free Trial

Decide whether to enable the subscription free trial. Each account is eligible for only one free trial. (Note: If you chooses not to continue with the purchase, the member discount will be revoked after the free trial, but any issued coupons will remain valid.)

Set Up Subscription Price

Both the monthly and annual plans offer the same benefits but at different prices. It is recommended to offer a discount for the annual plan.

First Time Benefit

"First-Time Subscriber Benefits" are given to customers who subscribes for the first time. As this is not a long-term benefit, the only type of benefit available is coupon.

Click [+ Select Coupon] to add from existing coupons. Please refer to this article on how to create coupons under Coupon Center.

Member Discount

To offer a member discount, first check the box in front of "Order Discount". You can set up discounts by percentage or a fixed amount. The [Minimum Amount] represents the minimum order value required for members to apply the discount.

Reoccurring Benefits

If you want to add periodic rewards to the subscription benefits, check the Periodic Reward box. For recurring benefits, you can issue coupons to customers daily, weekly, or monthly. For monthly recurring benefits, please avoid setting the coupon issuance date at the end of the month.

Daily: Choose a time of coupon issuance and then select from existing coupons.

Weekly: Choose day(s) of coupon issuance. If you choose more than one days, then coupons will be issued more than once.

Monthly: Choose a date of coupon issuance. Similar to weekly promotion, the coupons will be issued more than once if you select multiple days.

Additional Rewards

This feature aims to enhance the customer experience with recurring benefits. If you enable [Additional Rewards], customers subscribing for the first time will receive their coupons immediately, regardless of their sign-up date or time.

For example, if the monthly benefit of a free drink coupon is set to be issued on the 1st of each month, customers signing up on the 2nd will still receive the coupon for that month, instead of waiting until the following month to enjoy the benefit.
