📖 Tutorial

1. Basic Information

  1. Device Specs

    • Model: K1 floor-standing self-service kiosk

    • 24-inch touch screen

    • Supports floor installation (optional rolling base available)

  2. Main Functions

    • In-store ordering

    • Payments

    • Customer interaction

  3. Compatible Payment Devices

    • Stripe M2 card reader

    • Pax A35 card reader

2. Unboxing & Base Assembly

2.1 Unboxing

  • Payment device: M2 or A35

  • Payment device mounting bracket

  • Remove the kiosk screen body from the box

  • Keep the top foam padding

2.2 Pedestal/Base Assembly Steps

1. Take the hex wrench from the accessory box.

2. Remove the dust plug from the lower column. Attach the lower and upper columns together, tighten with the hex wrench, then replace the dust plug.

3. Take out the base plate and place it in the foam groove from the package.

4. Remove the protective cover plate from the base. Align the column with the base holes, thread the power cable through, then gently rotate until the locating pins lock in place.

5. Use 4 × BM3 screws to secure the column to the base. Connect the power cable, organize wires, then reinstall the protective cover.

2.3 Rubber Feet Installation

Use a screwdriver to tighten the 4 rubber feet clockwise. These improve stability. Unless moving the kiosk, keep the feet installed.

3. Card Reader Bracket Installation

3.1 Prepping the Main Screen

1. Remove the dust cover and port cover.

2. Secure the top two screws on the back of the card reader plate.

3. Attach the card reader plate to the middle back of the monitor using two screws. Do not fully tighten yet (leave threads available for mounting).

3.2 Mounting the Monitor & Connections

1. Remove the magnetic cover from the top of the column.

2. Use the top slot to hang the screen assembly on the mounting plate, resting on the card reader bracket.

3. Connect the column’s power/display cables to the screen. Ensure they are firmly seated.

4. Secure the screen with PMW4*9 screws, then fully tighten the two pre-installed screws (avoid overtightening).

5. Install the column cover: align the arrows on the cover with the dots on the mount, then let the magnets hold it in place.

6. Adjust height: remove the tape at the top of the column, slide the screen to your preferred height, and optionally lock it with the strap provided.

4. Installing Payment Devices

4.1 Preparation

  • Stripe M2: Place on the reader bracket, tighten the rear screw.

  • Pax A35: Place on the reader bracket, tighten the rear screw.

4.2 Securing the Payment Device

Mount the reader to the back plate with four screws.

4.3 Cable Connections & Wire Management

1. Unscrew the bottom screw of the interface cover on the main screen.

2. Connect the payment device cable.

3. Route the cable into the main screen port from the left side of the cover.

4. Screw the bottom screw back on.

5. Coil any excess cable in the designated wire zone, then close with the cover to keep everything neat.

5. Power & Network Setup

5.1 Power On

1. Plug the kiosk into a 110V power outlet.

2. The monitor usually turns on automatically. If not, press the power button.

3. Check that the green LED on the base is lit.

4. You may use a surge protector or extension cord if needed.

5.2 Network Connection

1. Follow the on-screen prompts to select a connection type.

2. Preferred: Ethernet — plug the LAN cable into the terminal’s LAN port.

3. Optional: Wi-Fi — follow on-screen instructions to connect.

6. Final Setup & Testing
