Gift cards are a great way to boost loyalty and cash flow. But they can also be targets for fraud. These updates keep the program simple, safe, and sustainable for everyone.
Here is the updated Peblla Gift Card Service Terms & Policy.
What’s new (in simpler terms)
Clear fees on gift card loads
When a guest loads a card, the fee is 2.9% + $0.30 (standard processing) + 2.0% load fee.No extra fee on redemption. When the guest spends the card later, it draws from the stored balance.
Stronger protection against fraud
We actively monitor for unusual spikes or patterns (e.g., very large single loads, loads far above normal sales, repeated load/void cycles). If we see risk, we may temporarily pause or limit gift card sales, hold funds, or set per-card/per-day caps—all to protect you, your guests, and the network.
If you stop using Peblla
If you cancel Peblla services or end your gift card program, you’re responsible for transferring valid balances to a new program or refunding customers (as required by law). If that doesn’t happen, Peblla may withhold deposits to cover customer refunds and chargebacks.
What’s not changing
Your customers can use one card, everywhere (POS/Kiosk/Online), in digital or physical format, with a single balance.
You’ll still have straightforward tools to sell, reload, check balance, and redeem gift cards in Peblla.
Grandfathered (“legacy”) pricing
If you turned on Peblla Gift Cards before Nov 1, 2025, you keep your old (legacy) rate.
We will honor all grandfathered rates.
The other updated terms (risk controls, chargeback clarifications, wind-down duties, etc.) will apply to everyone.
